Yes, documents written in Spanish can be notarized as long as the signer understands the content

and the notarial certificate is in English (per Nevada state guidelines).

► Q: Can you notarize the document you translated? ◄

No. Nevada law prohibits translators from notarizing their own translations.

To stay compliant, all translated documents are notarized by my partnered Notary Public.

► Q: Are you a Notario Público like in Latin America? ◄

No. In the U.S., a Notary Public is not a legal advisor. Unlike Latin American Notarios Públicos, U.S. notaries

have a limited scope and cannot offer legal guidance or representation.
